2020 Kids’ Clothing Event

It’s time to start to sort through your kids’ closets to find any items not needed anymore.  T&E Care will be holding its 9th annual Kids’ Clothing Event in late March, 2020. We’ll be looking for lots of donations of kids’ clothes (infants through teens) as well as lots of volunteers to help us sort out the donations.  All the details are on the Clothing Event tab of this website. Feel free to send in any questions to clothes@tecare.org.

The Holiday Drive is now over.  Yet again – there are not enough words to say thank you to all those who lent a hand.  It was truly overwhelming.  Check our Holiday Drive 2019 page for all the details and pictures. Contact us with any questios.

Special Holiday Dinners 2019 – all done and well fed!

Again this year, T&E Care volunteers donated and prepared Thanksgiving dinners for ten local families and more volunteers donated food for “the big December dinner” for another 10 families. These are families who really struggle and we like to help them know that they can be thankful they live in T/E!!  Much appreciation to so many wonderful folks for offering support of these programs at such a busy time of year.  We were able to fill all the requests and provided many bags of food for these 20 local neighbors.  More details on both programs can be found on our Special Dinner website page.

Special Needs for Local Families

If you have the ability to help with any of these VERY important needs for a few of our local families please let us know. The power of “community” can often make the impossible possible.  Thank you.

  • Commonly requested are tall dressers. If you ever have one to donate let us know.
