FOOD NEEDS
Many local families have ongoing needs for food, especially now that prices have skyrocketed for so many food items. The local food pantries can help supply some canned and boxed items, but no fresh foods, meat, milk, or other similar items that are important to a healthy diet. Occasionally we will run a food drive - and you will be notified of those events. In the meantime - we can always use gift cards for Acme, Super Fresh, or Safeway. Many thanks for any help you can offer.
Gift cards can be mailed to: T&E Care, attn: S. Gorman, 1566 Hancock Lane, Wayne, PA 19087

Food donations
If you have food items to donate and we are not currently running a drive - there are a few options for you.
1 - REACT Food Pantry near the Great Valley Baptist Church on Valley Forge Road. This pantry provides food for local (Tredyffrin & Easttown area) families in need. Call 610-644-3311 to arrange a time for drop-off.
2 - Wayne United Methodist Church on South Wayne, across from the Radnor Middle School. The office is open from 8-3 M-W for families to pick up food (no questions asked). Call 610-688-5650 to find out if they accept donations.
Reminder: there is no refrigeration in these pantries - so they can NOT accept milk,
eggs, meat, fresh fruits/vegetables, bread, etc. Canned and boxed items
are best - peanut butter, cereal/oatmeal, granola/breakfast bars,
pasta/rice, spaghetti sauces, canned vegetables/fruits, tuna, canned
stews/spaghetti-o's (or similar items), juices, canned soup, etc.
