The 10th T&E Care Fall Fest will be held this year on Saturday, November 11 at St. Davids Golf Club. Once again this year we'll be enjoying silent auction and raffle prizes, dancing, a delicious dinner, and wonderful friendships .... all in the name of raising the all-important funds for T&E Care.
Who Is Your Everyday Hero?
In honor of Veteran's Day, we will be recognizing and celebrating Everyday Heroes at this year's event. Everyday Heroes are those individuals or groups who, through their past or ongoing actions and leadership, make positive contributions to the lives of all those in the greater Tredyffrin and Easttown communities. The purpose of our celebration is to demonstrate the wide array of people and groups responsible for making our community such a special place.
We are asking for your help in identifying Everyday Heroes in our community. These heroes will be included in materials presented at the Fall Fest, but will not be called upon to make a speech or accept any individual memento. They don’t even need to be in attendance at the event (although we’d love everyone to be there!). As we all know – a “hero” is in the eye of the beholder, and no one hero is more important than any other hero when thinking about the good of the entire community.
Is you hero your child's teacher? A local fireman? The doctors who cured your medical ailment? Your next door neighbor? Your mom or dad? Your seeing eye dog? The list is endless!
Please let us know who your Everyday Heroes are so we can properly salute them at our November 11 event. In making this submission, we would appreciate:
Your hero’s name (if you are submitting a group, then just include the generic or specific name of the group)
Your relationship to this person/group
One sentence why this person/group is your hero.
If you have a picture of your hero – feel free to attach it
Please note: We will not be separately contacting your Everyday Hero prior to the event. If you choose to let him/her/them know about this submission – that’s totally up to you.
Send submissions to us at email@example.com. Even though all submissions need to be made no later than October 1, it’s not too early to send yours now. The sooner we can begin to gather the names, the better off we’ll be!We'd love to have a HUGE project ahead of us this fall - so send your hero names in now. (And yes - you CAN send in more than one name.)
Auction prizes and Sponsors
If you 'd be willing to offer an auction prize, or sponsor our event, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss details.
We are looking for sponsors at the following levels: Presenting Sponsor ($10,000), Platinum Sponsors ($5000), Gold Sponsors ($2500), Silver Sponsors ($1000), and Bronze Sponsors ($500). We are also looking for sponsors at any level who could underwrite some of the costs of the event itself.
We find that gift cards and specialty prizes are the most popular, so if you have a unique opportunity to offer, or some gift cards to restaurants or other types of local businesses to offer, we'd love to hear from you. If you have a vacation home that you'd be willing to donate for a week or two - we'd be happy to discuss details with you! Lots of options for sure!
Thanks for considering these opportunities to assist with this important event. Click here for the sponsor packet or the auction prize flyer which will give you many more details.
