Donating Clothes & Accessories
Occasionally T&E Care receives requests from families for clothes. If you have to decide between spending money on food, heat, gas for your car or clothes, the clothes are usually not going to be purchased. Sometimes we have specific requests for families who have determined they can’t wait any longer but they still don’t have the funds to buy new things. When we learn of such requests, we post them on the home page. If you see such a request – then let us know! Please be sure the items are clean and in good condition. New items are always appreciated.
Please remember that each spring we run our annual Kids’ Clothing Event and we are always looking for donations of clothes for that. If you can hold your donations until we start those collections in March or April (dates vary due to spring break), that would be most helpful.
T&E Care has no storage facility. If we don’t have any current requests and you need to get rid of your items quickly consider using one of the options listed below. If you aren’t in a rush please send information about your items to firstname.lastname@example.org including general description with sizes (i.e. size 6 girls short sleeve shirts) and if possible a picture. We will circulate that info and see if anyone has a need. If you can store the item yourself we will get back to you when/if someone needs your items.
Other Options for Donating Clothes & Accessories
If you have clothing items to donate, we have no corresponding needs and you are not able to store them yourself until a need arises, there are other options. Please make sure items are clean and in good condition.
