another holiday season approaching, many of us eagerly anticipate all
the festivities with family and friends. This year, instead of the
usual exchange of gifts, consider giving something that will help the
less fortunate while honoring someone special on your gift list.
T&E
Care is a 100% volunteer-run, non-profit organization that works with
local families by helping them when they are faced with difficult
times. T&E Care helps these families get back on their feet;
families who run into a bad month or two which, without our help made
possible by your generous donations, could spiral into a progressively
worse situation. For these struggling families, the holiday season is
especially difficult. Won’t you please help now?
Take the stress out of shopping and give a donation that helps people in need. You can help change the lives of people in our community, giving them hope and peace. How? It’s easy as 1-2-3!
- On the gift donation form, simply select the donation amounts you would like to give to T&E Care. Donations represent a gift to our overall mission. We use your donations where they will do the most good to help families in the community. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law
- For each donation totaling $10 or more, you may request acknowledgment cards for you to send to the people in whose honor your gift is given. What a wonderful way to spread joy to your friends, neighbors, teachers, business associates, clients, family members, and other special people in your life! Please allow at least one week for acknowledgment cards to be mailed to you. To receive the cards in time for the holiday season, we will need to receive your order no later than December 12.

FAQ on Gift Catalog Program
Will the program be offered only at
the winter holidays?
No - it is available all year long. So
if you want to give an alternative gift for a friend's birthday, or a
co-worker's retirement, or just because someone is special, just
download the form, make a donation, and receive an acknowledgement card
that you can give to your honoree!
Can T&E Care just send the card to the person I'm honoring?
We'd
prefer to send the card(s) to you so you can get them to your honoree.
We will try to get them to you within a week of the request.
When
I "order" something on the Gift Donation Form - do I understand that
you might not really be buying that specific item for a family?
You
are correct - this is a alternative gift program and your donation
represents the types of things that we have spent money for to help
local families in need. For example, if you donate $500 for a car
repair, and we don't have a family that needs a car repair at this time
but we do know of one who is having problems covering a PECO bill, we
might use the money to cover that expense at that time.
Can I receive a tax deduction when I make a donation to T&E Care?
Yes
- along with your acknowledgment cards you will receive the
appropriate thank you note that you can use for tax donation purposes.
